Riviera Travel boosts solo offering on Rhine and Rhone itineraries
Riviera Travel is offering more options for solo travellers to cruise Europe this year.
It removed its single supplement across a range of 2024 Rhine and Rhone river cruise itineraries.
The river cruise and escorted tour specialist will now offer 533 cabins to solo travellers at no additional cost, on select departure dates in August and October.
This represents an 185% increase in solo cabin availability across the sailings.
Itineraries include the Rhine, Strasbourg & Heidelberg voyage, Rhine & Moselle, Rhine Cruise to Switzerland, and the Burgundy, as well as the River Rhône & Provence cruise.
Will Sarson, head of product – cruising and long haul at Riviera Travel, said: “We know that demand for solo travel is increasing.”
“We are ensuring more people can experience the finest waterways in Europe.”
