Romanian carrier to take off from Luton
Flights to Bacau in Romania are to run from next month.
Romanian carrier Blue Air is to start the service on June 1 until September 30 with two Boeing 737 flights a week.
The airline will serve the city set in the heart of the historical region of Moldavia at the foothills of the Carpathians.
Luton airport’s airline manager Simon Harley said: “Low fares flying continues to make business and leisure travel increasingly accessible to millions of Europeans and the launch of this new service to Bacau provides yet more choice for our passengers.”
Flights can be booked at www.blueair-web.com.
