Roosevelt among iconic American hotels with special offerings
An icon in the city of New York long linked with Guy Lombardo’s orchestra, the Roosevelt Hotel is offering three incentive packages for meeting-goers. They include one of three options:

- Confirm two meeting rooms per program and receive the 3rd free
- One complimentary high speed internet connection per meeting for every $5,000.00 spent in food and beverage
- Complimentary meeting room rental for groups of 25 people or more
Food and beverage perks
- 15% off food and beverage
- Complimentary upgrade to Starbucks coffee (A savings of $3 per person)
- All dinner functions offered complimentary wine service
The deals are available until June 30.
"One step through the doors and The Roosevelt Hotel’s magnificent ambience transports guests back to the classic setting of New York City in the Roaring Twenties. Renowned as the ‘Grand Dame of Madison Avenue,’ the hotel opened in 1924 and has been meticulously restored to its original grandeur," according to the hotel’s website.
The Roosevelt has welcomed guests from all around the world and has been part of the US’ rich history.
Guy Lombardo and his orchestra performed their first show at the Roosevelt Grill on October 3, 1929 and continued to play there for the next 30 years. It was at the Grill that Lombardo first broadcast what would become a famous New Years Eve tradition, the playing of "Auld Lang Syne."
The Roosevelt Hotel has appeared in several major motion pictures, including The Boiler Room, Wall Street, Quiz Show, Presumed Innocent, Malcolm X, Monday Night Mayhem, The French Connection, Hanky Panky, Maid in Manhattan, The Hoax and 1408.
The hotel is Convenient to Grand Central Terminal, JFK International, Newark Liberty International and LaGuardia airports. It is near the Empire State Building, 5th Avenue shopping and world-famous shows on Broadway.
