Royal Caribbean CEO Richard Fain stepping down
Long-time Royal Caribbean Chief Executive Officer Richard Fain is stepping down early next year.
Fain d has spent three decades with the cruise operator. Finance chief Jason Liberty will take over as CEO in January 2022. Fain will continue as chairman of the board and will work with Liberty.
Liberty joined Royal Caribbean in 2005 and became CFO in 2013. "It was the right time to step down," Fain said, with the company now close to returning all ships to service.
