Royal Caribbean offers bonus commissiona and giveaways
Royal Caribbean International is offering a range of bonus incentives in recognition of the cruise line’s Travel Agent Appreciation Week which lasts through Friday June 13.
Agents who book a Crown Loft Suite or higher-category stateroom on Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas cruises this month will be awarded a bonus commission of $250 per stateroom.
Also, on sailings from June 14 through August 31, 2014, a $1,000 onboard credit per stateroom is offered on new bookings, and the third and fourth guests staying in the same stateroom also sail for free.
Additionally for bookings made this week, agents can earn an extra two points in commission for all new 2014 Caribbean or Bahamas sailings, and an extra one point in commission for all other 2014 cruises.
Agents need to enter promotional code ‘THANKS’ on the new booking to be eligible.
The cruise line also announced the opportunity for prolific agents to win a free cruise a year for the next five years.
Travel agents have to book five Bermuda, Bahamas or Caribbean cruises sailing between July 1 and the end of the year, two of which must be aboard Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas.
Bookings must be made by July 20, 2014.
Royal Caribbean is also taking its message on the road, with plans for senior executives and sales staff to visit up to 4,000 travel agent partners during this week.
