Royal Caribbean reveals plans for Mexico beach club destination
Royal Caribbean is introducing a new beach club destination in Cozumel, Mexico.
The cruise line’s second beach club project is set to open in 2026.
Royal Beach Club Cozumel will be situated on Cozumel’s western coastline featuring a beachfront, multiple pools, private cabanas, dining and a street market.
There will be opportunity for snorkeling and kayaking as well as activities like cooking classes and tequila tastings.
Jason Liberty, president and CEO, Royal Caribbean Group said: “The expansion of our destination offerings aligns with the growing global demand for the ultimate vacation experiences.”
The cruise line will announce further details about Royal Beach Club Cozumel in the coming months.
Royal Caribbean’s first Royal Beach Club Collection location is the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in The Bahamas which is slated to launch in 2025.
“The anticipation for what’s next has only continued to build since we revealed Royal Beach Club Paradise Island. Now is the perfect time to announce the next iteration of this collection,’ says Royal Caribbean International CEO, Michael Bayley.
The cruise line also operates private destination Labadee which remains closed to cruise guests because of current political unrest in Haiti.
