Rugby World Sevens loses Argentina leg
The International Rugby Board has confirmed that the Argentina will not be hosting its round of the 2012/13 HSBC Sevens World Series.
The country’s rugby body said the logistical challenges were "too significant to successfully deliver an event this year" and it would focus on ensuring a successful event in 2013-14.
The 2012/13 HSBC Sevens World Series will now comprise nine rounds:
Round 1: Australia (Skilled Park, Gold Coast) Oct 13-14, 2012
Round: 2: Dubai Nov 30 -Dec 1, 2012
Round 3: South Africa (Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, Port Elizabeth) Dec 7-8, 2012
Round 4: New Zealand (Westpac Stadium, Wellington) Feb 1-2, 2013
Round 5: USA (Sam Boyd Stadium, Las Vegas) Feb 8-10, 2013
Round 6 Cathay Pacific HSBC Hong Kong Sevens Mar 22-24, 2013
Round 7: Japan (Prince Chichibu Stadium, Tokyo) Mar 30-31, 2013
Round 8: Scotland (Scotstoun, Glasgow) May 4-5, 2013
Round 9: England (London Twickenham) May 11-12, 2013
