Ryanair is giving away 500,000 seats for flights taken in January and February.
The one-way seats are available to book until 12 noon on Christmas Eve, and include taxes and charges.
The give-away was described as a Christmas “thank you” to 58 million passengers who have travelled with the airline this year.
CEO Michael O’Leary said:“Some people may call me Scrooge while some people may compare me to Father Christmas but they can call me what they like – Ryanair will be working on Christmas Eve to deliver passengers 500,000 free one-way seats, which include all taxes and charges.”
