Ryanair announces new Scandinavian base
Ryanair is to launch extra flights between London and Gothenburg, Sweden’s second largest city, after opening a new base at the airport on September 15.
The budget carrier will base one aircraft at the airport, representing a $100 million investment.
It will offer an extra daily flight between Stansted and Gothenburg, Ryanair’s 74th base, giving it three frequencies a day.
It will also fly from Gothenburg, home to 550,000 people, to 12 other destinations.
