Ryanair calls for army to end airport chaos
Ryanair chief Michael O’Leary has a novel way to solve the airport chaos: send in the troops. O’Leary suggested the army should be deployed at UK airports to help long queues amid widespread disruption.
He warned the disruption will continue throughout the summer without radical action. ‘Defence personnel with experience providing security ’could help, he reckons. It would ‘relieve the pressure on airport security and mean a much better experience.’
“If you relieve airport security, you get rid of the queues.”
