Ryanair unveils new UK base
Ryanair is launching extra flights from Leeds Bradford in March 2010, making the airport its 11th UK hub.
It will base two aircraft at the airport and fly 14 new routes, making a total of 17 routes and 63 weekly return flights.
The new flights are to Carcassonne, Faro, Ibiza, Knock, Krakow, Limoges, Malaga, Malta, Montpellier, Murcia, Nantes, Palma, Pisa and Venice Treviso.
Ryanair already flies from Leeds Bradford to Alicante, Girona and Dublin.
To launch the new flights, it is releasing 1 million £5 seats for travel across its European network for travel in October and November, which are available for online booking until midnight Thursday (August 13).
Meanwhile, Ryanair is to add flights to Malaga from Bristol International Airport on October 26.
With fares from £10 one way, including taxes, flights will operate four times a week on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
Ryanair has recently announced the addition of Bristol flights to Arrecife (Lanzarote), Las Palmas (Gran Canaria) and Tenerife South which will also begin in October.
