Sabre, Booking.com bed down new partnership
Sabre Pacific and accommodation booking website, Booking.com have agreed a partnership that will allow travel management companies using Sabre Online and their corporate customers to shop and book a total of more than 6,000 hotels across Australia and New Zealand and thousands more internationally.
The new properties will be integrated with Sabre Pacific’s end-to-end product offering and complements hotels already offered by the Sabre GDS.
Duncan Waterman, products manager at Sabre Pacific, said travel management companies needed access to the most comprehensive and efficient tools to make every dollar go even further.
"We’ve responded by not only more than doubling the number of available hotels across Australia and New Zealand, but ensuring that content is delivered in a touchless way."
Waterman said that one of the major benefits of the new content was greater coverage for hotels in rural and regional towns.
