Saga Cruises has unveiled its summer 2021 cruise programme from the UK on two ships including its newest vessel Spirit of Adventure.

Spirit of Discovery will offer ‘Scottish Highlands and Islands,’ ‘Great British Isles Adventure’ and ‘Northern Isles to the Fjords’ itineraries beginning 27 June 2021.

The inaugural cruise on Spirit of Adventure departs Tilbury on 26 July for 15 nights around the coastline to Newcastle, Orkney Islands and Northern Island before disembarking in Dover.

"We know how much our guests want to get traveling again so we are delighted to be launching our all-inclusive, round-Britain Summer cruise itineraries," said Nigel Blanks, CEO of Saga Cruises.

Boutique ships Spirit of Adventure and the Spirit of Discovery accommodate less than 1000 guests offering multiple restaurants, bars and entertainment facilities including the signature Britannia lounge.

The summer cruises programme includes a choice of complimentary UK travel to and from the port of embarkation.

Saga requires all guests to have both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine before boarding the ships. It was the first cruise line to announce mandatory vaccinations for guests.
