Samoa relief fund launched
APIA – A Tsunami Relief Fund has been set up and will be managed by the Annandale family in Samoa.
This follows the need to help rebuild and restore life for many who have been left homeless and destitute in the district of Falealili on the south coast of Upolu, Samoa.
Tuatagaloa Joe Annandale, co-owner of Sinalei Reef Resort and Spa, is the head chief of the area of the south coast that was hard hit by the tsunami.
An assessment is being made by Tuatagaloa Joe Annandale and his group of village chiefs to establish not only the more immediate but the longer term needs for this district which include, but are not limited to, building materials / building expertise / tools / pumps / etc.
