Sarina Bratton awarded NSW Entrepreneur of the Year in Services Sector
Sarina Bratton, Founder and Managing Director of Orion Expedition Cruises, was declared NSW Entrepreneur of the Year in the Services category of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award held at the Four season’s Hotel in Sydney.
Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year celebrates those who are building and leading successful, growing and dynamic, businesses, recognising them through regional, national and global awards programs in more than 135 cities in 50 countries.
Previously short-listed to the final four in the Eastern region (NSW and ACT), Sarina now progresses to the national awards with announcement of the winner in November. The national winner will represent Australia in Monte Carlo for the annual World Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
In communication with Orion office staff and ship Sarina said ” Many people have ‘entrepreneurial’ spirit, however not many people have the opportunity to attempt, let alone come through the rigors of starting a new business from a blank sheet of paper. To cultivate the idea into reality requires a committed group of investors. To bring reality to the market requires a committed team of people working alongside you. For the market to embrace the idea and evolution of the product and service requires all sharing a common vision. My nomination could never have come about, without you”.
