SAS adds second daily Aberdeen-Copenhagen flight
Scandinavian Airlines System will launch an additional flight from Aberdeen to Copenhagen on March 25.
It will operate double daily services from Aberdeen to Copenhagen using a 50 seat CRJ Cimber Jet aircraft.
One-way fares start from £72 including taxes.
The morning service, leaving Aberdeen at 9.30, will complement the existing SAS evening service.
Lars-Ove Filipson, general manager UK and Ireland, said: “During 2006 we have seen the demand for this route increase by more than a 20% growth in passenger numbers and the success of the Aberdeen to Copenhagen route has brought about the need for a second daily service.
“Aberdeen is a key market in the energy sector and SAS looks forward to the further development of business and leisure traffic between the two cities.”
