Shiji launches digital payments for hotels
Hospitality tech firm Shiji has rolled out a new digital payments solution.
Shiji Digital PayBy is an integrated payment tool focused on hotel operators.
It is designed to enhance guest experience through faster and more secure compliant transactions.
It is built on two-WayPMS connectivity.
It allows hoteliers to securely capture card details or collect digital payments from guests via a link.
Shiji Digital PayBy, integrates reservation details, thus speeding up the payment request process.
Agents are provided with a real-time folio balance view during the creation of payment links.
Payments are then automatically posted into the PMS or updated to the attached token.
API functionality allows various platforms, such as pre-stay communication, In Room TV, and Banquet/Event platforms, to independently generate payment requests.
The system then processes payments via eCommerce channels, incorporating latest 3D Secure and fraud screening measures.
“We’re confident that Shiji Digital PayBy will greatly improve the guest experience,” said James Montague, Senior Director Shiji Payment Solutions.
