Silver Airways to codeshare with Alaska Airlines
Silver Airways and Alaska Airlines have agreed an interline partnership allowing travelers to connect easier between the two carriers’ networks.
The agreement allows customers to purchase through tickets for flights on Alaska Airlines routes in the US including Alaska and Hawaii, Canada and Mexico, to Silver Airways’ destinations across Florida and the Bahamas.
The partnership introduces new destinations for Alaska customers including Fort Lauderdale, Key West, Tampa, Fort Myers, and Grand Bahama.
"Adding Alaska Airlines to our growing portfolio of valued airline partners allows us to bring even more destinations within reach of customers for both airlines and gives travelers the opportunity to easily connect between multiple airline networks," said Silver Airways CEO Sami Teittinen.
The deal with Alaska represents Silver Airways’ ninth codeshare pact.
It also has interline connectivity with American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, JetBlue, US Airways, Alaska Airlines, Bahamasair, Hahn Air, and All Nippon Airways.
