Silversea agent training goes online via PSARA website
Silversea Cruises claims to have become the first company to go live with its online agent training programme through the PSARA website.
The new tool is specially designed for use by PSARA member agents to give them comprehensive knowledge of the luxury line.
The four modules cover all aspects to help agents sell Silversea cruises to clients with confidence.
Module one offers an overview of the Silversea guest, unique selling points and points of contact for back up and support direct from Silversea.
Module two covers the product itself, with comprehensive information on the ships, destinations, suites, dining and on board facilities.
The third module features Silversea guest benefits including enrichment and land programmes and the highly successful loyalty programme, ‘Venetian Society’.
The final module covers selling Silversea with information on pricing, groups, charter and incentive programmes and the booking process.
Each module is finished with a set of questions to test the agent’s knowledge. Agents completing the full online training course receive an accreditation from PSARA which can also be used for point of sale display.
UK managing director Trudy Redfern said: “This new addition to Silversea’s already comprehensive training programme is designed to enhance our existing in-house schemes which will be expanded over the year, through PSARA, to be included in their Elite Training Academy.”
PSARA plans to expand its Elite Training Academy this year with ‘Elite Workshops’ in cities across the UK and ‘Elite Bitesize’ which will feature more focussed and targeted classroom training seminars in September.
