Simply the Best!
HONG KONG – Ultra luxury Silversea Cruises has been voted “World’s Best Small Ship Cruise Line” for the eighth time at the prestigious Condé Nast Traveller UK awards ceremony in London last week.
Silversea scored higher than any other cruise line in both the small and large ship categories and with an overall score of 91 out of 100, and was the only cruise line to feature in the “World’s Top 100” at the 37th position. It scored top scores in the categories of service/staff and standard/comfort of cabins.
Steve Odell, Senior Vice President Asia Pacific for Silversea, said the achievement underlined the company’s ongoing commitment to provide its guests with the very best cruising experience available. “It further illustrates the strength of the brand and recognition of the core values of the company.”
Silversea Cruises is recognised as an innovator in the luxury segment, offering guests large-ship amenities aboard four intimate vessels – Silver Cloud, Silver Wind, Silver Shadow, and Silver Whisper -all designed to offer an atmosphere of conviviality and casual elegance.
The vessels provide guests with the ultimate in six star luxury cruising in all ocean-view suites, most with private veranda; complimentary fine wines and spirits served throughout the ship; fully stocked in-suite beverage cabinet, including fine wines, spirits and champagnes; open seating dining in a choice of four top class restaurants – The Restaurant, La Terrazza, Poolside Grill or Wine Restaurant; 24 hour room service that can be served course-by-course; and complimentary round trip transportation from the pier to the heart of town in many ports of call.
