Singapore Airlines launches Seattle service
Singapore Airlines has launched its Seattle transpacific service directly connecting the city to Singapore for the first time.
The service initially operates three times weekly before expanding to four a week from next month.
The Sea-Tac service takes the number of weekly nonstop flights to the US to more than 30.
SIA also flies nonstop to San Francisco, LA and Newark.
"The new Seattle services will further strengthen the Singapore hub by providing customers faster and more convenient connectivity," SIA said in a release.
Seattle flights are operated by Airbus A350 jets which features the airline’s wellness focused in-flight service in cooperation with wellness brand Canyon Ranch.
The plane offers 42 Business Class, 24 Premium Economy Class and 187 Economy Class seats.
