Singapore Airlines to operate special daily Winter Olympics flights
Singapore Airlines will fly daily between Singapore and Beijing to transport athletes and officials to the Winter Olympics. Singapore’s Changi Airport will act as a connecting hub for passenger traffic to and from Beijing. The Winter Olympics start on February 4, 2022.
Flights are only for Singaporean or foreign athletes and officials transiting at the airport. The Winter Olympics service begins on January 21, 2022.
Games official Zhang Liang said the Beijing Winter Olympics will operate a ‘fixed loop bubble’ for all foreign athletes and officials, including special designated flights not available to the general public.
