Six Senses to open second Maldives resort
Six Senses is introducing a new Maldives resort encompassing three private islands.
In collaboration with Singapore-based Hotel Properties Limited (HPL), Kanuhura will open as a rebranded Six Senses resort in late 2022.
Enhancements and renovations are planned over the coming months, including private pools to be built in the overwater villas, new family suites, new dining and a wellness offering.
It will offer 80 private overwater, beach and spacious family villas and is just a 40-minute seaplane flight from the main international airport on Male.
"Six Senses Kanuhura is a unique opportunity to combine our three best-loved ideals in life: sustainability, wellness and locally themed experiences," said Six Senses Chief Executive Officer Neil Jacobs.
HPL owns 41 hotels and resorts in 15 countries with eight in the Maldives.
