Six Senses Wins Global Tourism Business Tourism For Tomorrow Award

Six Senses Resorts & Spas is a resort and spa management and development company that operates luxury properties primarily in the Maldives, Oman, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Six Senses currently has ten resorts, with five more scheduled to open in 2008 in other countries, in addition to 20 Six Senses Spas. Employees, more than 1000, are known as ‘hosts’ within the company, and sustainability is integrated into all aspects of the business model, reflecting the company’s core mission – to create innovative and enriching experiences in a sustainable environment.

Six Senses’ sustainability programme – known as Social and Environment Conscience – is comprehensive and systematic, including protection of the environment and supporting the well-being of communities. I share the award with the hosts at all of our properties managed under the brands Soneva, Six Senses Hideaway, Six Senses Latitude and Evason, plus Six Senses Spa and Six Senses Destination Spa.”
