Ski operator hits the news
Pioneering ski operator Erna Low will be featured on the BBC News Channel this evening.
Journalist Mark Frary, author of Erna Low’s biography "Aiming High", will be talking about her role n developing ski package holidays and school ski trips, her surprising past as a javelin champion, her wartime work for the BBC translating Hitler’s speeches as well as her role in the life of actor Roger Lloyd Pack.
The programme will be screened at 19.50 on 80 Freeview, 503 Sky and 601 Virgin Media.
