Ski train tickets go on sale tomorrow
Eurostar is opening ticket sales for its popular ski train on Thursday, July 31.
The train will travel from London St Pancras to the French Alps, giving easy access to several resorts including Courchevel and Meribel in the Three Valleys, which are within an hour’s drive of the French terminal.
Services will run weekly from December 19 until April 11. Fares start at £149 return and there’s no charge for skis and boards.
Eurostar runs a Friday overnight service which arrives in the Alps early on Saturday morning, with the return leg departing late on Saturday evening. Alternatively there is a Saturday daytime service.
Tickets for Eurostar’s winter service to the Swiss Alps, with trains from London to Geneva via Lille, go on sale in October.
Eurostar’s services to Germany, Belgium and France for the Christmas Markets went on sale today on eurostar.com.
