SMARTBOXâ„¢ UK APPOINTS TRAVEL INDUSTRY MANAGER
Smartbox, the global leader in gift experiences, has appointed Garry Barone as Travel Industry Manager for its UK and Irish operations.
Smartbox are aiming to distribute their products through the travel industry, which proved to be a successful channel in France, with agents benefiting from increased footfall and an additional revenue stream. Barone’s experience in Sales and, Marketing will enable the quality range of hotel getaways, culinary treats, adventure experiences and spa and beauty treatments to be purchased as gifts through travel stores throughout UK and Ireland.

Barone joins Smartbox with 30 years experience in the travel industry with roles in aviation, tour operating and hospitality sectors. His previous roles include Head of Sales for Avro plc and Airline Account Manager for Travel 2 and Travelbag.
