James Howlett joins this spring and brings over a decade of industry experience.
He currently holds the position of Sales Director UK & EMEA at Hurtigruten.
He held previous roles at travel brands Fred. Holidays, Uniworld and Collette.
Howlett will be responsible for the sales functions across B2B and B2C channels, overseeing the sales and distribution strategy and building relationships with distribution partners such as travel agents and tour operators.
“This is a critical role for the business and with James’s stellar background we know he’s going to make a real difference to our business and be a great fit,” said Sharon Bradbury, General Manager of Solmar Villas.
“Having led the UK and EMEA sales strategy at Hurtigruten, I’m looking forward to bringing that experience to Solmar — supporting the team, strengthening our distribution partnerships and building on the great work already underway,” Howlett added.
