Something new under hotel sun: a rain guarantee
Hotel promise: nothing will rain on your tanning parade.
In August, the Catalina Hotel & Beach Club in sun-filled Miami Beach announced it is offering guests a free, indoor tanning session if it rains longer than two hours during prime tanning hours.
The later is known by the pros as P.T.H., the hotel says.
“A Miami tan is a vacation souvenir,” said Catalina owner Alan Lieberman. “And we guarantee our sun-worshipping guests won’t check out of Catalina without one.”
“A short walk from the Catalina, Rockstar Tans provides a tanning experience seven days a week. Catalina guests will look and feel like a rock star after a session in one of the five state-of-the-art tanning beds,” the hotel promises.
