Southampton gets new summer service to Brittany
Eastern Airways will launch a series of flights from Southampton to Brittany next July.
The service to Lorient, Brittany’s fourth largest city, will start on July 10 and will operate on six dates until August 17.
Southampton Airport director of marketing Jan Halliday said: "Our new summer service to Lorient perfectly complements our portfolio of fantastic destinations in regional France.
"The flights will operate on selected dates and it’s one of the quickest ways to get to this totally unspoilt part of the Morbihan region. The airport is just 8km from the city centre, making it a great base from which to explore the coast."
