Southampton to host trio of ships in one week
Agents will be involved as Royal Caribbean Cruise Line has three ships arriving in Southampton during one week in April.
Three ships across the Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises brands will call into the UK cruise hub of Southampton from April 22.
More than 4,000 travel industry representatives have been invited on board ships during the week.
Liberty of the Seas, sister vessel to world’s largest cruise ship Freedom of the Seas, will be showcased with a range of dedicated events for independent and multiples agents.
On April 26 Navigator of the Seas, the largest Royal Caribbean International ship to be based in the UK, will arrive in Southampton at the start of a six-month European season of cruises. More than 100 agents will be hosted on board the first ex-UK cruise.
Sister brand Celebrity Cruises’ 1,950-passenger Constellation calls in Southampton on April 25 Constellation on a five-night UK and Ireland itinerary calling at Cork and Dublin.
UK and Ireland managing director Robin Shaw said: “When Navigator of the Seas and Constellation are joined by the latest big sister of the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line family, Liberty of the Seas, it will be the biggest ever opportunity to experience the best, all in one place.”
