Advantage Travel Centres member Windsor & Neate Travel has collapsed.
The long established Newbury-based ABTA member agency ceased trading today and cannot meet its future liabilities, the association said.
The cruise specialist agency was based in its Bartholomew Street address in the Berkshire town since 1924 and was reputed to be Newbury’s first travel agent, having marked 125 years in business last year.
The company was also a member of the Advantage Focus Partnership of business travel agencies.
ABTA said any retail claims arising from the failure will be handled by its claims handling partner CEGA.
If any principals dealt with this company on the CAPS payment system they should contact Advantage Travel Centres in the first instance, ABTA added.
