SriLankan Airlines, Jetstar Asia ink codeshare agreement
SriLankan Airlines and Jetstar Asia have inked a new codeshare agreement allowing better connectivity in Southeast Asia for Sri Lankan’s customers.
Passengers with Sri Lankan can book through ticketing on seven routes from Jetstar Asia’s hub in Singapore.
The agreement covers flights from Singapore to Darwin, Phnom Penh, Phuket Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Kuala Lumpur and Perth.
"We consider this a tremendous opportunity for Sri Lankans who can enjoy greater connectivity from Colombo via its gateway in Singapore to fascinating new destinations of the South East and cities in Australia," said Kapila Chandrasena, CEO of SriLankan Airlines.
Jetstar also has current codeshare agreements with Qantas Airways, Emirates, Japan Airlines and American Airlines.
