Star of unusual cruise is…gulp…exercise
Most cruisers look forward to unlimited food and drink but Norwegian is offering a cruise where highlights will be beach workouts, team sports, high-energy dancing and “fitness fun for kids.”
"Being physically fit and healthy transcends into every facet of our lives," said Jillian Michaels, a best-selling author and star of TV’s “The Biggest Loser.”
“Guests will experience four days of healthy cuisine, heart-pounding exercise, live wellness speaking engagements led by Michaels, activities for kids, and live entertainment – all while learning invaluable wellness lessons and acquiring the tools to help reboot one’s life,” says a press release.
The cruise will set sail Oct. 21 from Miami. Stops include Great Stirrup Cay and Nassau, in the Bahamas.
The ship is the Norwegian Star.
The cruise returns to Miami on Oct. 25.
