Starwood bringing Aloft brand to Adelaide
Starwood Hotels and Resorts is to bring its Aloft hotel brand to South Australia with the signing of Aloft Adelaide, set for an early 2018 opening.
It will be the third location for Aloft in Australia, following Aloft Sydney Pitt Street, which opens in October 2016 and Aloft Perth Rivervale in early 2017.
The new build Adelaide hotel will form part of the New Mayfield mixed use complex in the state capital and will have 200 guestrooms, an indoor pool, a 24-hour fitness centre with a rooftop running track, and meeting space.
It will also house Aloft’s signature restaurant and bar and offer guests Starwood’s SPG Keyless room entry system via a smart phone.
"Demand for Aloft is rapidly accelerating and we are experiencing growing interest from investors and developers in the Australian market," said Andrew Taylor, director acquisitions and development at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Pacific,.
