Sterling deal for CarTrawler
Car rental distribution system CarTrawler is to supply content to the website of Scandinavian carrier Sterling Airlines.
A three-year deal will see the Irish company provide multi-supplier car rental content with the launch of the airline’s new website.
Sterling, which operates more than 100 routes throughout Europe, expects to carry 4.5 million passengers in 2008.
CarTrawler CEO Greg Turley said the win meant the company was now working with its third low cost carrier in Scandinavia after Norwegian Air Shuttle and Fly Nordic.
Sterling’s chief commercial officer Michael Hansen said: “It is vital for us that we convert as many enquiries into bookings as possible and just as vital that we maximise the margins we make on each sale.
“Our partners are critical to this goal and CarTrawler, with its depth and breadth of content, product knowledge and next generation technology, is the perfect match for us at this time.â€
