Storm Imogen batters Britain causing travel disruption
Storm Imogen has disrupted travel as it batters Britain with high winds and heavy rain.
British Airways has already reported at least 18 cancellations and 70 delays to its services today.
Arrivals and departures at Heathrow and Gatwick are also facing delays.
Many cross-Channel ferries have also been cancelled due to the gales which have already reached 93mph at the Needles on the Isle of Wight.
Both P&O and Brittany ferries have announced severe delays and cancellations to their services.
P&O Ferries updated passengers via Twitter, saying: "Please be advised that due to adverse weather forecast this morning, our services will be disrupted some time this morning."
The Met Office said that morning rush hour will be "especially impacted", and the strongest winds could affect the M4 and M5 motorways later, the Met Office said.
Rail services are also expected to be affected with speed restrictions imposed.
