Study: Disney park ticket could cast USD250 by 2031
A family day out at Disney theme parks could cost more than $1,000 in the next decade according to a study by timeshare platform Koala. It looked at the entry tickets costs since all the parks opened and subsequent increases and reckons Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando could cost $253 by 2031.
"At that rate, it will cost over $1,000 per day for a family of four to go to WDW in 10 years," said Koala CEO Mike Kennedy. "It’s hard to imagine the price of an adult ticket to Disneyland California was just $2.50 in 1955."
Based on its data, it predicts a ticket to Disneyland Resort in California would cost $224 per person in 2031. It found Disney’s new park in Shanghai would have the smallest increase over the next decade.
