Subjects and speakers confirmed for WTM Vision conference

A debate on sustainable tourism and the impact of recession on the travel industry will be part of the first World Travel Market Vision conference.

Exclusive Euromonitor International research on the impact of the recession on the travel and tourism industry will be unveiled at the half-day event in London on June 4.

World Travel and Tourism Council president and CEO Jean-Claude Baumgarten will respond to the report’s findings alongside Euromonitor International global travel and tourism manager Caroline Bremner.
 
TUI Travel head of sustainable development Jane Ashton will lead a debate on sustainable tourism.
 
A UK outbound panel session will include Co-operative Travel managing director Mike Greenacre, Carnival UK chief commercial officer Peter Shanks and Hotels.com EMEA managing director Nigel Pocklington.
