Sun Princess will make US debut in Ft Lauderdale
Princess Cruises’ largest ever ship Sun Princess debut in the US in October 2024.
It will homeport at Ft Lauderdale, offering seven- and 14-day Caribbean cruises.
The ship is the first in the new Sphere class, and will be deployed at Port Everglades for the winter.
It begins service with a season of Mediterranean and Europe cruises after launching in February 2024.
Sun Princess Caribbean cruises include an opening 5-day voyage with visits to Amber Cove and Grand Turk and 7-day Western Caribbean sailings to Cozumel, Belize City and Roatan.
The 175,500-ton, 4,300-guest Sun Princess will offer new dining, entertainment and activities, including The Dome entertainment venue inspired by Santorini.
Sun Princess will also feature Princess Medallion personalized services and experiences.

Caribbean voyages will go on sale later this week.

My Goodness! The pier at Ft. Lauderdale is going to be the busiest in the world! How wonderful for our travel industry. We can hardly remember being stuck in our homes with Covid. Everyone is traveling!
