Superbreak’s former sales boss to join Shearings
Superbreak’s former UK and international sales director Jane Atkins is to join Shearings as strategy director.
Atkins, who announced her departure from the short-break specialist Superbreak last Friday, will take up her new role in May.
Her appointment follows that of Richard Calvert, currently head of US-based global holiday operator Celebration Travel Group, who becomes chief executive of Shearings next month.
"We are delighted to have Jane on board to help drive strategic and sustainable growth and business improvement across the portfolio of brands within the Shearings Leisure Group," he said.
"She is an experienced operator with a reputation for building high-performing, customer-focused businesses and is well-respected across the travel industry.
"This is a time of momentum and new growth ambition for the Group, and Jane brings valuable expertise to the senior team."
