Tahiti ahoy! New rally to sail the Society Islands
Australian-based Mariner Boating Holidays is offering yachties the chance to experience racing conditions in a new sailing rally that takes in Tahiti’s renowned Society Islands.
Departing on April 13 this year, the 11-day Sail Tahiti Yacht Rally follows the same route as Tahiti’s annual Pearl Regatta, which will take place shortly after the rally, from April 30 to May 4.
During the rally, sailors will visit Raiatea, Huahine, Bora Bora and Taha’a on spacious Catana 41 and 47 catamarans.
Priced from $3550 per person (based on an eight person crew sharing four cabins), the offer includes boat charter, a guide, some transfers and some meals, berthing on race days, three post-race functions and local taxes.
Mariner Boating Holidays has been operating in Tahiti since 2000.
