Taste of Thailand at industry workshops
The Tourism Authority of Thailand will hold a series of ‘Aroi Tasty Thailand’ themed travel industry workshops in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney in mid-May.
More than 45 Thailand-based suppliers representing international and domestic airlines, inbound tour operators and other industry representatives will join the events.
TAT director Australia, Numfhon Boonyawat, said it would be one of the biggest workshop series the national tourist office has staged in recent years.
Building on the ‘taste’ theme, the events will be attended by high profile Thai cooking expert Duncan Robertson whose ‘Duncan’s Thai Kitchen’ series is currently airing on WIN TV and Channel Gem.
Amy Chanta, owner of Chat Thai restaurants in Sydney, will also present at the Sydney event.
Prizes, including holidays to Thailand, will be drawn at each event.
Dates and venues:
12 May Brisbane – Brisbane Hilton Hotel Grand Ballroom
13 May Melbourne – Crown Tower Palladium C Ballroom
14 May Sydney – Darling Harbour Dockside
All workshops start at 5pm.
