Technical issue leads to Cunard transatlantic cruise cancellation

About 2,000 Cunard guests just had their holiday plans dashed.
The Queen Mary 2 transatlantic cruise to New York was cancelled on Sunday.
The line cites a ‘technical issue.’
“It needs to be resolved prior to sailing and it can no longer go ahead,” Cunard said.
“All guests will receive a full refund and a future cruise credit of 20%.”
It was due to depart Southampton on Sunday
Queen Mary 2 offers regular transatlantic service between Southampton and New York at least once a month.
