Technology specialist joins United board
United Continental Holdings has appointed Bill Nuti to its board of directors.
Nuti is chairman, CEO and president of NCR Corporation, which specializes in consumer transaction technologies.
Since his arrival at NCR in 2005, Nuti has overseen a reinvention of the global technology company.
Prior to joining NCR, Nuti served as president and CEO of Symbol Technologies.
He has also been a senior vice president at Cisco Systems.
United chairman, president and CEO, Jeff Smisek said: "Bill has unique experience helping businesses connect with their customers using technology, and he will be a tremendous asset as we expand our online, mobile and customer self-service options at United."
