Tempo Holidays covers 40 countries
The 15-year-old Australian-owned wholesaler Tempo Holidays now packages travel to 40 countries, following today’s launch of its new Austria Germany brochure.
Germany, The Netherlands, Switzerland and Belgium have been added to Tempo Holidays Austria program for 2006-07.
The new brochure carries the title Austria Germany which also covers Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Croatia.
Hotels, car hire, transfers and a range of guaranteed coach tours and modules for the independent traveller are in the program for these new countries.
National Sales and Marketing Manager, Mark Johnson said the new countries gave Tempo Holidays a comprehensive cover of Europe.
“We can now provide seamless product delivery for customers travelling to several countries within Europe in the one journey,” he said.
All hotel accommodation in Germany has Tempo Holidays’ new Tempo Medallion gold, silver, bronze classification. Linked to the Germany program are accommodation, sightseeing tours and transfers for the adjoining countries of Belgium and Switzerland.
A selection of day tours in Berlin, Frankfurt and Munich are basically pre-arranged tour packages, non-guided and include various destinations that are linked by day tours or coach transfers and accommodation. They can be started in Frankfurt or Munich with additional nights available at any of the overnight options.
The 7 days Romantic Germany tour (from $1441) features the famous Romantic Road while the pre-organised, but completely independent tour package Romantic Road & Royal Castles (from $888) from Frankfurt to Munich over 4 days combines pre-booked accommodation, transfers, train tickets and sightseeing including a walking tour in Rothenburg.
Other tours are “Berlin and Fairytales Tour” (from $1039) and the “Royal
Tour to Germany’s Exclusive Castles” ($2598).
A self-drive 5 days Romantic Road package includes hotels and some touring (city walks, night watchman tour at Dinkelsbuel) and is priced from $505. Car hire is extra and is available through Europcar.
Guided coach tours ex Frankfurt include dedicated Festive Christmas market tours in December.
For the Austria program, major changes include five packages linked to this year’s Mozart 250th birthday celebrations in Austria, more regional hotels in Austria and a new 7 days Austrian Highlights independent rail tour of Vienna, Salzburg, Innsbruck and Graz (from $1460 pp twin share).
In the Czech Republic, 4 star hotels have been added in Prague.
Features of the program for Croatia are 8 days UNESCO World Heritage land tour (from 1582 pp twin share) and two Katarina Line cruises, 8 days Dalmatian Highlights ex Dubrovnik (from $1380) and 8 days Adriatic Paradise ex Split (from $1254). Cruise prices include full board and accommodation.
