Tempo offers availability
With the close of the earlybird season for Europe river cruising, Tempo Holidays is pleased to be able to still offer availability on departures throughout 2008. Yet travellers are urged to book quickly, as some cabin types and departures are already sold out.
Tempo Holidays’ General Manager, Sales and Marketing, Mark Johnson, said that the rush across the mass market on cruise sales linked to earlybird offers had dented the available inventory in the market.
“We’re not in the mass market but at the discerning end so we have availability,” he said. “Our cruises offer course-by-course, silver service, single sitting dining instead of buffet dining and a crew-to-passenger ratio of 1:2.5 passengers where the average for most river cruises is 1:5.”
Tempo Holidays’ cruising program features great itineraries as well as flexibility in terms of optional shore excursions. The program covers the March-November 2008 season and features five cruises, using the Rhine (Netherlands, Germany, France, and Switzerland), Danube (Germany, Austria, Hungary, and Slovakia), Elbe (Germany and Czech Republic) and Rhône and Saône (Southern France) rivers.
The 8-day Majestic Blue Danube cruise (Passau-Budapest-Passau), for example, also visits Durnstein, Melk, Vienna, Bratislava and Esztergom and is priced from $1827 per person twin share on the MV Mozart. Special rates for single occupancy are also available which allow for more flexibility.
Tempo Holidays’ full range of European FIT arrangements can be added to any river cruise program which enhances the flexibility even further in allowing the creation of customised itineraries.
