Thai boat tragedy death toll mounts
As many as six Britons may have been killed in the Thailand speedboat tragedy.
Three were confirmed dead yesterday and a further three are missing, The Sun newspaper reports today.
The boat, said to be carrying twice the number of permitted passengers, capsized while ferrying young tourists to the island of Samui following a late-night party on Pa Ngan, where revellers were celebrating the full moon.
Eight people have now been confirmed dead and the search for survivors continues.
However, the newspaper claims police in Thailand have admitted they do not expect to find anyone else alive.
