Thailand lifts curfew in more beach resorts
Thailand has lifted its night-time curfew in seven more islands and coastal areas, including Hua Hin, Cha-am and Krabi.
It has also lifted the four-hour curfew, which applies from midnight to 04:00hrs, in Ko Chang and Ko Phangan (including the neighbouring island Ko Tao) and in Phang Nga and Hat Yai.
The country had already lifted the curfew in the most popular resorts of Phuket, Pattaya and Koh Samui earlier this month.
The capital Bangkok and the popular northern trekking destination of Chiang Mai in the north of Thailand remain under curfew as a result of the political protests since the coup on May 22.
