Thailand mulls return to mandatory quarantine
Thailand’s Public Health Ministry plans to recommend the suspension of the ‘Test and Go ‘programme and reinstate quarantine for travellers. Test and Go currently allows fully vaccinated air travellers arriving from many countries to skip quarantine.
Deputy Prime Minister and Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said he is proposing a return to quarantine through the Sandbox and State Quarantine schemes. It comes as concerns grow over the Omicron variant situation globally.
